Remember Christ

My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends. You are my friends if you do what I command (John 15v12-14).

In the midst of the hardships continuing in Zim.  I find myself being challenged - who am I prepared to lay down my life for?  Do I love my brother and sister enough to give them the shirt off my back, or the food off my table.  Help me Lord I pray.  There are many in Zim right now who are sacrificing a lot.  There are many who remain there because they have a strong hope and future and know that things will eventually turn for the better.  Please lift these and others up in prayer this week.  Remember to lift up the leadership structures as the Bible clearly instructs us.  We are to bless not curse.  If we are to curse those in authority we are effectively cursing ourselves, but if we decide to bless and pray, we will discover that in due course the blessing will also be returned upon us.   If you are a believer in Christ Jesus, the word says that we have been given the mind of Christ.   How did the Lord respond when James and John wanted to call fire down from heaven and burn up the city that rejected them?  Their prayer was out of anger and rejection.  The Lord rebuked that spirit in them, and we know that He lived the truth because when he hung on the cross, we see words of forgiveness extending to the Roman soliders, Jewish leader and criminals crucified beside Him.  What was the end result?  Was Christ justified?  Yes!!! Who justified Him? God did.  We know too that many received salvation and forgiveness through this unselfish act of love.  Thank You Jesus.

Let us weep with those who weep but also lift up a sound of praise and worship to God that the heavens may tremble and come into the correct alignment with the King of Glory. Amen

The Lord says,  “I will raise the standard in Zimbabwe.  More are for you than against you.  You are above and not beneath, children.  What was meant for evil or harm to you will be turned around for good.  I show favour to My children at this time.  You shall not hunger or be in need for the Lord will be your supply.  Fear not for I Am with you.  Though you go through the fire and the water, I will hold you in the palm of My hand.  Fear not children.”
