Greetings Friends:

I trust that you have had a blessed week.  In my blog this week, I’d like to post a message from Ps Christopher Alam, a crusader for Christ in Zimbabwe, Zambia and through many regions of the world.  In particular, he has 2 major crusades that are coming up in Zim during July.  These are looking to have difficulty in getting off the ground due to financial shortfalls.  Please pray that the funds will come in and the word of God can go forth.  People can get food, clothes and heathcare, but if they do not know God, these are only short term solutions.  Knowledge of God leads to all forms of creativity and prosperity, since He is creative and prosperous.  This is where true success begins.  If you feel led to support financially or know of some who might be interested.  Please go to http://www.pentecostalfire.com and go to the “donate” section.  Ps Alam’s ministry is very sound and extremely effective.  I pray to the Lord that there might arise more like him that can affect the world today.

Remember that the weapons of our warfare are mighty to the pulling down of the devil’s strongholds.  You are powerful in Christ, because He made it this way through His blood and the cross!  Don’t forget it, or allow the enemy to tell you otherwise.

Blessings in Christ

Here is Ps Alam’s message from a recent crusade in Zambia:

30,000 BAPTIZED WITH THE HOLY GHOST - LAST NIGHT OF CHAWAMA CRUSADE

Our Crusade in Chawama, Zambia ended tonight. It has been a week when we have seen the Glory of our God. Huge multitudes have received Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior every night, and God has poured forth His Grace with Signs, Wonders and Miracles in every single service.

Since my last mid-crusade report, the last two nights have been full of amazing miracles. What a wonderful Savior we serve! Hallelujah! We have seen lame and paralyzed people get up and walk, blind eyes see, deaf ears open, tumors disappear and demon-possessed people being delivered, amongst many other things.

Tonight the Fire of the Lord fell, and around 30,000 people received the Baptism with the Holy Ghost and with Fire. The whole field covered with the vast multitude seemed to be ablaze with Rivers of Fire flowing from down from Heaven. All over the field people were weeping, shouting, falling to the ground, speaking in tongues as the Spirit gave them utterance. As the Praises of God ascended to the Heavens, God answered with even more Fire; as it is written “The God who Answers with Fire, He is God!”

Jesus Christ was Glorified, and we can say that our Lord Jesus is loved and exalted in this town far more after this crusade, than He was before we came to Chawama!

The teams from RHEMA, State College AG and Swedish Pentecostal Churches stood side-by-side and helped me minister. God let them see many miracles of healing and deliverance as they laid hands upon the people. I believe that their lives have been changed for ever!

Thank you for your love, prayers and support. We are in a very tenuous financial situation right now. We have two crusades scheduled for Zimbabwe at the end of April, and we are around $30,000 in the red. Because of the present economic crisis our ministry income and church offerings have shrunk considerably and we need your help right now. Otherwise we might have to cancel our two Crusades in Zimbabwe in July. I say this with great pain in my heart, as we have never had to cancel a crusade before because of lack of funds. Each crusade costs us around $25,000, but we bring in over 100,000 souls for Jesus with that money. It is money well spent for the Kingdom of God!

Thank you for taking this in prayer before the Lord and for doing your best to help us!

In Christ,

Christopher Alam

Hope Clothed In Sackcloth

Greetings Friends,

Our hearts grieve this week for one of the great hearts of Zimbabwe -  Susan Tsvangarai.  May her courage live long after her and continue to speak to our hearts.   We pay our deep respects to Prime Minister Tsvangirai this day.

Prayer:

“We pray for Prime Minster Tsvangirai , Lord, that you will give him peace of mind and heart.  Restore his soul and help him to find rest in You.  We know that was meant for evil against him by the devil will be turned for good in his life and in our nation in Jesus’ name.  May these seeds of great suffering be turned into a bountiful harvest of forgiveness and peace in time to come. Amen”

Blessings in Christ from your fellow labourers.

Dear Friends,

I believe I hear the Lord talking about defeating the council of Ahithophel, and for us to pray for the council of Zadok to arise:

“I (the Lord) will defeat the council of Ahithophel  - the old counselor.  He shall not stand anymore.  We are talking of spiritual minded things here.  Wise counselors shall stand to surround the president.  Wise counselors will begin to speak words of hope and life - no longer the song of death and despair.  This is the parting of the waters that I spoke about long ago.  The waters shall part and you will go though on dry land to a sure and steady place.  I will raise up the council of Zadok.  Zadok was a priest who stood in MY presence and knew the ways of the Lord.  He was a wise and loyal man.”

I encourage you to pick up a Bible and read 1 Samuel 15 to understand this in context.  Ahithophel was a friend of David, but bitterness I believe had corrupted his thinking.  Some have researched and suggested that he was related to Bathsheba and sought opportunity for revenge for David’s infidelity.  On a side bar - it is important to note that David had been judged by God for his actions.  I will elaborate briefly.  David had actually unknowingly proclaimed his own judgment when talking to Nathan the prophet, and this was that he would be required to pay four times for the taking the one and only beloved ewe lamb from his neighbour when he had a whole flock to feed the guest that had arrived.  The judgment did come to pass as prescribed, and David was visited by incest and murder within his own house to the portion his judgments had declared.  This event was the probably the beginning of the decline of his kingdom.  God is true and merciful, but the consequences of our sin can flow for many years, even beyond our lifetime.  On the other hand, David was a man and king after God’s own heart.  In fact he was so loved by the Lord that God always kept one of his descendants on the throne of Judah, all the way till Christ came.  Christ himself was “of the root of Jesse”.  We see that the covenant of truth extended long beyond the sin and the consequences thereof.  Light always prevails over darkness.  It should also be noted that although Solomon “inherited” David’s weakness and consequences of sin, he had a choice too.  Being the wisest man of that time, he still failed to grasp the vanity of his ways until the later years when he expresses, “vanity of vanities, all is vanity and chasing after the wind”.  There is no true fulfillment even for the greatest, riches, most powerful men and women.  Christ is the only true fulfillment.

Back to Ahithophel – he saw it fit to inflict punishment and revenge on David, forgetting that “vengeance is the Lord”.  This led to his demise and shortly thereafter he commited suicide and the kingdom became restored back to David, the rightful ruler in that period. Zadok, a priest,  was cunning old friend, but faithful to David and the Lord defeated the “bad” consellors advice.  He did not seek opportunity of gain, but sought to help David through this very low time in his life.  Let us pray for the Lord to defeat the council of Ahithophel in our country and pray for the council of Zadok to stand.  The council of Ahithophel is wrongly motived, is proud, vengeful, hateful and angry.  The council of Zadok is wise, shrewd, true and faithful.

Prayer : “Lord, we pray that you will defeat unrighteous council in our country.  We pray that you will defeat council that is breed out of anger, hate and unforgiveness.  We pray that you will raise up righteous and courageous concillors who speak the truth in love.  We pray for men of women with great insight and wisdom.  Men and women who understand the times and can recognize seed time and harvest time.  Please make these to succeed and for their voices to be magnified and heard.  Lord we lift up your speakers of truth today and pray for strong guidance.  We pray for the president that he will be surrounded with men and women of truth and those that speak life around him, not death.  We release spiritual truths of righteousness to flow over the presidency, cabinet and all the seats of authority today.  In the name of Jesus Christ was pray and declare these things.  Amen”

Side note:  It should be noted that “the entrance of God’s word is light . As anyone, including leaders begin to hear the word and the truth it will begin to shed brilliant light in their arenas.  The difficult things will suddenly be understood and become clear with amazing clarity.  On the other hand, when persons who have darkened minds and are selfish and prideful in their estimations - the clouds the spiritual skies and darkens the horizons around the president and cabinet.  Turn to the pages of history and note the high profile leaders - who were their councillors?  We will be prudent to pray for these things and in doing so, bless our government as Christ commanded us.  Blessing does not necessarily mean agreement, but it rather the Lord’s proclaimation of truth and spiritual freedom that leads to all other forms of freedom.

Please pray for myself, my wife Stacey and children to be blessed as well.  I bless you friends in the amazing love and friendship of Jesus Christ!

Keith
